For Paul the photograph was a lens concentrating on the one English spring morning. It was a very ordinary snapshot, so modest in its three or four elements that at any moment afterwards he could assemble the pieces together in his memory.

So many times we see pictures that we cannot capture yet as Samuel Johnson observed perhaps they are for the mind, however even the most simple of images, as well as our most successful for what ever reason – fine art or just recording a trip – these images can also be profound in what we remember of the time they were taken.
